INTERNSHIP
International Internships LLC was formed in 2004 to provide university level students and recent graduates, of all nationalities, an opportunity to gain work experience abroad by undertaking an internship in a foreign country. We arrange placements in 16 countries including the United States, using the J-1 Visitor Exchange Visa Program.
We are dedicated to finding you an internship that will not only complement the knowledge you have acquired thus far in your chosen field, but that will give you a global perspective as you seek a competitive edge in achieving your career goals. Almost all of our knowledgeable staff have interned or studied abroad themselves and are available to advise you on the program that best suits your needs. They will guide you through the simple online application, send you a pre-departure packet and advise you on visa regulations as we search for your customized placement abroad.
Most fields can be accommodated and many programs don't require a foreign language. Our onsite coordinators, available throughout your entire stay, secure your housing (optional) and provide you with an orientation once you arrive. Academic credit is available for our programs via a transcript from Truman State University. Soon, you will be working alongside international counterparts while you travel on weekends to explore other destinations!
INTERNSHIPS IN THE UNITED STATES: In 2009, International Internships LLC started offering internship placements in the USA in cooperation with two licensed sponsors of the J-1 INTERN and TRAINEE visa program. We offer custom placements in New York City and then coordinate the procurement of your J-1 visa. In some cases, we have internships located around the country at host companies that have approached us with their open internship assignments.

Academic Credit
Credit-seeking students on International Internships LLC programs can earn up to 15 credits for a semester program or up to 6 credits for a summer program, so your academic career doesn't have to go on hold while you develop your professional career.

Whether your career plans take you back home or to an overseas destination, you will utilize the professional experience, personal growth and intercultural competencies that you have gained during your international internship.
